Dave Strider. Maybe one of the most popular guys in the school. Nobody knows why he's always wearing those cool ironic shades of his, and most people want to find out. But Dave himself wants his eyes to stay hidden, and nobody else has ever seen them. He thinks that if anyone did, they would make fun of him and his good reputation would immediately disappear. The two, basically opposites, find that they actually might get along and relate to each other. But who knows what a simple sentence could do? (this is my second fanfic and the first homestuck one i've ever written so if the writing sucks don't judge! also none of the art is mine. ships included will most likely be johndave at the beginning, and throughout the fic theres gonna be erisol, rosemary, some jadenep, johndirk, and vrisrezi! if you don't like one or more of these ships deal with it.) When Stiles starts having strange dreams that start to meld with his reality, he can't tell if he's losing his mind or not and he begins to pull away from the pack in order to keep it from them. Luckily Derek and Scott are too concerned with the newest threat in town to worry too much with Stiles, at first. But as Stiles gets worse he can only keep hiding the truth from those closest to him for so long.

Stiles can't sleep, and if he told enough people that was all it was, maybe he would start to believe it. Still, as tensions were rising about them losing their territory he couldn't bother them with something he didn't even fully understand. Maybe he just needed something fun and easy to help him relax. Like the hot neighbor that he keeps catching staring at him. Derek can't sleep, and if he cleans his house enough maybe people won't realize how he doesn't care enough to clean up other parts of his life. Still, as he worried about his job and obligations, he couldn't let them down about finding a place they belonged. Maybe he just needed something interesting to keep his mind off of it. Like the clumsy man he can't keep his eyes off of.

That was seriously the total opposite of where I was and I, Dave Strider, along with my brother, Dirk, had made such a move. All my life I had been a good kid, as good as sneaking out and strifing on the roof can get. Now, I was a B average student and worked to keep it that way, though by my actions, people would think I flunk every one of my classes.

When the final battle is won, Karkat gets mysteriously thrown into a universe different than the one he was expecting. The worst part? He was all alone. Six long years came and went and most of his friends accepted the fact that he was dead and moved on. However the ever omnipotent being that loves to fuck shit up brought Karkat back just as easily as it took him away. Now Karkat has learn how to live in a world that formed and grew without him while suffering the consequences of six years in another world. [[This is a remake of a fanfic I wrote in 2017, i hope you enjoy]]
