"Ever since we were kids, we were inseparable. No matter what it was, we would go through it together. Side by side. And if our mom's weren't best friends with each other, they would never approve since he is a guy and I'm a girl. But really, that didn't matter with us, girl or guy, us together.. we could take over the world.

It's different now though, we grew older, we made our own friends, and we have different interests. We still see each other through our bedroom windows here and there, and say hi when we walk by each other getting the mail or in the halls, but it's not the same. And I don't think it ever will be. I guess you could say we drifted."
