It was a night of unusual gloom, with a black, ghastly mansion that laid vacant and foreboding as Henry walked up the short stairs alongside his older sister, Megan. They had been invited to a masquerade party by an old friend of their father's. This was strange because their father had been dead for over 10 years and neither one of them knew their father's friends. That wasn't the only thing strange about the invitation, but it also seemed that the invitation led them to a mansion, that had been inactive for years. People had said that the owner's wife had fallen deathly ill and there was no telling when she would get better. Rumors had spread about his wife dying or being close to death. This was the first time in a very long time that the mansion was active.

The House At The End Of Yellow Brooke Street

15 parts Complete

An eerie silence echoed through the house at the end of Yellow Brooke Street, the wind outside slammed toward the wooden walls making a whistle inside the house from the cracked windows; the front door made a thud each time it slammed toward the wall and the screams from the dead gave the house an uneasiness to it. I stood before the house, while my friends were excited to do the exact opposite of what our parents told us to; I was not. I trusted my mother when she told us to never get close to this place. "You guys ready?" Diana said with joy in her voice, I stuttered. "No.." the fear in my voice was obvious, though no one seemed to care. Dan glanced at me and chuckled. "Really? It's just a house." "It's a haunted house." I said nervously. "Maybe we should trust our parents on this, they told us that it isn't safe for a reason." "You wimp." Diana joked, she wasn't serious; it was just to get me with them and of course she knew that it would work. "It's fine if you don't want to Luna." Lucas said, at least he was cool about it. "I-I'm not a wimp!" I stumbled on my words. "Yey!" Diana said happily and rushed toward me with her arms open. "I'll buy you McDonalds after this." I hugged her, even though I wasn't happy. I looked at the time. 12.20am
