Lucy is a Mute

Lucy, nobody really talks to her and she doesn't talk to anybody. But her dream is to join fairy tail. She figures out that she is a really powerful being and doesn't tell anyone even her closest friend from fairy tail levy.

Then everyone starts ignoring her because they think she is weird. She walks until she finds a little park and she silently cries to herself till someone comes and talks to her.

Who is this person? Will this person train her to become better and show fairy tail that they were wrong? How powerful is Lucy? What made her mute in the first place?
