When Hunter wakes up in the dark, and alone, she has the right to panic. Thrown into the world of glade, in which she is the only girl, all she can remember is her name... at least at first. Soon, she starts having dreams, dreams that feel more like memories about times before The Maze. But as her past life starts to resurface, her new life becomes more complicated, and not just because of the handsome British boy Newt.
Newt has been here for two years, going on three. He has come to expect a pattern and isn't surprised or impressed very easily, that is until Hunter. The first girl ever in the Glade, and the first person to stir emotions that he thought were long gone. With Hunter in the mix, the Glade becomes different, it becomes full of life and somewhere he wants to be, and that scares him.
As these two start to grow closer, will they be able to focus on the future, or will their WCKD pasts come back to haunt them?
