Asteri has lived near water for most of her life. Years ago, she went to her favorite island after being kicked out by her parents, where she found a rock- a glowing blue rock. One could call it "wrong place, wrong time" when all the stars align to shine on her, giving her special abilities. Anytime she takes her hand off the fragment of the rock- she becomes a mermaid with a beautiful long black tail when she touches water. She controls the water, she can move it and boil it and freeze it. However, that doesn't help being homeless at fifteen. So what happens when Tony Stark finds her beaten nearly to death on the sidewalk?
