His home was in a small town that was populated by no more than 30 people, and nearby was a cryogenics testing facility in the form of a vault. The company that owned it, Vault-Tec, was a government-funded organisation that worked to find ways to preserve human life in the case of global disaster: environmental, nuclear, or otherwise. Due to Y/N's service history, he was allowed into the vault during the nuclear warhead exchange between America and China, and that's where our story starts. If it is successful, then this will change how people travel forever. You decide to be the first person to use it... However, it went horribly wrong. You pass out and wake up in a large neon city filled with strange humanoid creatures that appear to be animals... As if that wasn't bad enough.. You have to figure out where you are, and how to get back home.. but that won't be easy when people find out a new species just arrived in the city. I don't own any of the art used in the story. A mother takes the kids before the father can, seeing that he is going down a dark slop, and returns to Caesar's, her father's, legion BEGGING him for protection. In order to keep all the children safe the mother offers herself to her husband to be experimented on, claiming to make sure whatever serum he made was safe for the children. She ends up dying due to this but writes a letter to her eldest, explaining what all is happening. The mother plans to kill her husband before he can try anything else. The mother does succeed in killing her husband but does die soon after returning to the Legion. The four children grow up in Caesar's legion and this is their story.
