The Secret Life of Kitty Swan

Kitty Swan is Bella Swan's twin sister. She is strong-willed, sassy, and outgoing. Things that her twin sister isn't.

One night, when Kitty was walking home from a friend's house, she was attacked by a shadowy figure and the figure bit her, and drank her blood, unknown to the figure, he put some of his venom in her which when he left her lying on the sidewalk, barely alive, caused Kitty to turn into a vampire.

When Kitty awoke three days later, in an alleyway, not knowing how she got there, she realized that she could see everything clearer, that her sense of smell was keener and so was her hearing. She didn't know what happened to her, and then when she got up instantaneously, she realized what happened to her.

After reading plenty of vampire books beforehand, she realized on that day that she was a vampire.

From that point on, she lived her vampire life in secret, wearing brown contacts every day, since finding out that she was a vampire.
