In the world where only the strong ones survive, Rei Aihara decided to throw away her humanity in order to become stronger and able to protect everyone who means to her, dragged down by dark chains of past where she lost everything, discovering very cruel truth.
This world is wrong.
After encounter with fellow ghoul Ayato Kirishima-who seems to be very similar to her, imbued by same hate, anger, brashness and enormous will to sacrifice his morals to be the strong one-Rei's life will change forever.
Chains and darkness of the past will be finally defeated by lightness of vibrant colors she saw in Ayato's wings.
...Or light she saw in him will be her downfall?
In this wrong world, where strong devours the weak...What 'being strong' really means?
One choice, will unravel the truth.
But not without sacrifice.
