This is a collection of original posts attempting to describe types of people through the personification of certain places, ideas or concepts. I don't know if that was clear enough, but you'll get the hang of it as you read. Though these posts were inspired by other posts found online, the ones in this specific book were written by me. Feel free to re-post or use them as long as you alert me and give credit. Now that we got the formalities out of the way, enjoy!

She begins her journey of self-discovery with her sexuality, identity, love life and mental wellbeing. High school isn't as romantic as movies play it out to be, but Nyx finds herself falling in love with people she'd never imagine. She maneuvers around the world within a community and school that has little to no diversity, along with stereotypes and racist ideology that seems to be at her every turn. On top of it all, her friend group seems to drift away from each other causing her to spiral with her thoughts because when it comes to those around you there are times where you think you really know someone but that's not always the case. New friendships arise and so does romance. Tension with her academics becomes more overwhelming than what she expected. Life is taking many turns, not just with her own life but with those around her as well. Read as everyone explores their own life secrets that they have kept in the dark from those around them. Love Shouldn't Hurt (My Personal Experience With Emotional Abuse)
Change to disclaimer: I censored their name because they were getting death threats. THIS BOOK IS COMPLETE In my younger years, I accepted toxic manipulation and emotional abuse as normal and a sign of love. I've dealt with lying and manipulation all my life but never classified it as wrong since it all came from someone I loved: my father. I never fought back because I was raised to put trust in him because we were kin. A decade later, I come across Wattpad with a warm and loving community, and through mutual friends meet THEM. We then start dating on and off and then finally break up. Before we do break-up, they made me vow to never tell anyone what I had gone through and discovered about them. I said yes without hesitation because I was still madly in love with them and stupidly loyal; but as two years pass I realize I promised to not tell anyone about their true self so they could continue to do what they did to me and to silence me because they knew I still had feelings for them and was formidably loyal. I became damage control so they could continuously drag in new weak-minded people like me and make them go through the same pain and groom them to shower them with attention every second of the day and when they didn't; they made them feel as if they were wrong. They made their lovers feel like they were the bad guy and insignificant at the same time. In Present day, this still haunts me to the point I only get a few hours of sleep. My ex isn't here now and I feel I must share not only as a way to warn readers of people like them and how his definition of love is actually far from the truth, but as way of closure for myself.Complete
In Love With Blindfolds On
I gave the best of myself to someone who didn't have anything to lose. I didn't know how to avoid my lover's toxic and abusive flames. My lover's twisted words were like a maze inside of my head that I couldn't escape. Sadly, my lover's actions hypnotized my thoughts and paralyzed my thinking. I learned the hard way that love isn't leaning in for a kiss, and a fist meets you halfway. Love isn't being a punching bag because someone decided they wanted to beat on you today. Love isn't saying I love you just because someone wants to keep you to themselves. I tried to be there for my lover, but I learned it is impossible to fix the broken pieces when the glass has shattered. There will always be pieces that are not repairable. However, I kept going right back to the person who I needed to walk away from. I was afraid, and I wasn't brave enough to wake up from this nightmare! I made the choice to suffer when life is meant to be lived and enjoyed. Will I find the courage to know my worth and know that I deserve better than the distasteful lies that are whispered in my ears? Will I have the strength to fight my insecurities? Will, I set myself free, or will I let my love be the death of me?Complete
