Althea is Tony Stark's daughter. She was dropped off at the mansion as a baby and no one knows who the women is but it's confirmed that she is Tony's flesh and blood. Tony raises her best he can with the help of Rhodey, Pepper and Happy. Althea is intelligent like her father and really craves friendship. She meets Peter and convinces Tony to let her out to hang out with him. They quickly fall for each other. Later on, secret gets out and everyone knows that Althea is Tony Stark's daughter which brings some unwanted attention from many in the universe and bringing Althea's mother back into the picture.

Having a lonely childhood was sad but not unheard of. Being able to control fire was definitely strange but in this world was not a phenomenon.
