Finding Purpose (+18) ✔️
***this book contains suicidal thoughts and tendencies, may not be appropriate for younger audiences*** In which she looks for the purpose of life. Lily Carter's parents died in a car crash leaving her and Laura, girl was depressed long before her parents passed away and with all the problems turning up now, Lily felt more miserable - if that's even possible. With her journey to look for life's purpose and grab the small pinch of HOPE - which is ironically her second name -, will she finally snap at the pressure and finally end it all? or will a small light lit her darkened world of grief and loneliness? * "So you know. The little goth girl who gets bullied is indeed a mess. There's this mess in her head that eats her alive everyday isn't it? What to do now Kaden? Tell the whole neighborhood and recieve an award for taking out a crazy in this world?" I spit like vomit. His eyes warmed up as I finished, "Lily. It isn't like that" "What is it then? People stopped caring... they gave up, why aren't you?" I fought my tears. "Because I feel the need to care. Did Leigh hurt you? Did she hit you?" he finally noticed the unusual redness of my cheek. I don't like the way he told me he needed to care for me. I felt like an obligation, a responsibility that he is carrying and carrying leads to getting tired and when people gets tired, they give up. I don't want them to give up on me. But they will, so it's good not to make them care for me in the first place. "I never needed anyone. I stopped needing anyone before, why start now?" I uttered the words again. Why? There is nothing to fight for. No mama. No papa. No sister to love me. No one. So why would I waste my life and the time of others to fix what is already broken - and someone who doesn't want to be fixed? If I may add. Maybe I gave up. No, scratch that. I gave up a long time ago - when my parents died, my hope and purpose went away with them.Lengkap
Not even a glance
"I walk down the school hallway, "don't make eye contact" I keep repeating in my head. The sweet smell of cologne and perfume fills the halls. I keep walking trying not to get noticed. I see the doors of the school getting closer and closer. I speed up trying to make it in time. I reach out to grab the door handle, and right as I'm about to take my step to freedom, I hear my name being called. And I know exactly who it is. The person who makes my life miserable. The person that makes me want to die more and more each day. The one person who knows my only weaknesses. The school bully." Jessica is a 15 year old at Marino High school. She's a straight A student and she lives a normal life. Or at least she did. It all started when she was 7th grade. Her mom became MIA (missing in action). Her dad became an angry man. Love is Loud Enough to Stop Hate - Demi Lovato Spin-off Story - Book 3
I used to be popular, but we all know that. They started bullying Kayla, but I refused. It didn't look like it bothered her, but I saw it in her eyes. It hurt her more than anyone will ever know. No one else noticed, but I did. I saw her clothes start to get baggier as she started to lose weight. I remember her coming back one summer and looking like a twig. There was absolutely nothing to her. I refused to be a part of what they were doing to her, and they hated me for it. They insult me and bully me claiming that I'm her 'best friend' and I'm just like her. They push me off the bus and push me in the hallways. One day they pushed me into my locker and I had to be taken to the hospital for stitches. Just recently, I was walking up to my house and they ran in front of me and pushed me down the stairs. That's how I broke my leg. If they were ask me, I would proudly say that I stuck up for Kayla. More people should have.Lengkap
Ana
Life as a child was amazing. Your weight didn't matter. Your clothes didn't matter. Your parents money didn't matter. All that mattered was who you were going to play with, but that's all gone now. My sister hates me, my mom has no time for me, and my dad, well he left me. My life has been one whirlwind after another. Except I'm content with it, till it all comes crashing down. Every television, billboard, and magazine is covered with models. Models that are supposed to be role models, for us. Perfect face, perfect body, perfect life. I have none of those things. All my life I've never cared that I was over weight, and didn't wear makeup. Who knew a boy could change all of that? That's when I decided to starve myself, force myself to look like the girls in the magazines. Who knew all I was doing was slowly killing myself? Life likes to play games, except my game is called Ana and I don't think I will survive. (unedited) Cover by: MadHatter_25Lengkap
Dear Scott
"Growing up around fairytales, Disney princesses and teen films, we are raised to believe that happy endings are always in store for us. But more often than not, reality sinks in, and the happy ending doesn't occur. Especially in high school. The main reason I liked this book so much was because it was so real. It was a love that was destined to crumble from the start, and yet, you kept pushing your luck. We've all been there. The late night texts from your crush waking you up to talk about nothing, the unexpected butterflies when you see him, the gross flaws he possess that you don't seem to notice, or the small things he does that turn you on. Most importantly, we learn that love truly is blind. We're unobservant to the world around us when our teenage love obsession is staring down at us with those big, brown, adorable eyes of theirs. And then when we wake up from this dream-like state that is a first love, we realize that he's not this perfect, older, mature man... but this boy."Lengkap

Blue Hair and Bruised Knees
My life used to be pretty boring. Everything was average. Normal family, normal looks, normal house, normal job, normal life. The only non-boring aspect of my life was my best friend which was only because she always managed to mess it up somehow. I didn't really mind much because it kept things interesting. That is until she disappeared leaving me to care for her fatherless child with nothing more than a few hundred pounds and a sorry note. She did ruin my old life. She ruined everything that I'd actually cared for. My parents hated the fact that I was 'throwing my life away' for a child that wasn't mine. Not to mention illegally. I dyed my hair blue in rebellion. My own way of saying "F*CK YOU!" ...They kicked me out shortly after. I couldn't find a decent job in the area and the rumors became so vicious that I just left and never looked back. Old life: Destroyed, unraveled, completely gone. Let's see how long my new life lasts shall we?Lengkap
Curvaceous Not Fat
Not many take pride in their weight, but I do. I'm a size sixteen, 44DD, and an ass most wish they had. I'm beautiful with long, dark hair flowing down my back. My tits doesn't sag, my ass doesn't sag and I have clear skin. What would I have to feel bad about? Don't get me wrong at one point I did feel bad. Wouldn't you if you were constantly called fat? Thanks to six of the best friends you could ask for I know what to say when people call me fat. "Hey Allison, you fat ass." Says Cynthia as she walks past me laughing with her clones right alongside if her. I turn and glare at her. "Hey Cynthia, I'm curvaceous not fat. Get it right." The silence is golden. I smile as I stuff the rest of my stuff into my locker and walk to homeroom to meet with my friends. *Characters: Allision Ja'hara Dave Austin Justin Brad Ashton* Have you ever felt like you didn't belong? What can you do when it seems like everyone hates you? How do you take being redicule? You turn the negatives into positives. So what you can't wear the sizes 0-5. Let them have it. Embrace the skin you in. Baby you're curvaceous, not fat. Never forget that. Most of the time people can change, but not everyone. Some will always think they're better then rest. No matter how big or how small someone is, words can be hurtful. No one can change overnight. One day you might be the bully and the next you are the victim. Be careful what you do and say because karma will get you, and it will hurt.Lengkap
