Lisanna's Story

There's a perfect start for everyone, a story written with intricate detail. Memories flood each page, not leaving a hint of empty white behind. Some pages are torn out, others burned, and many are marked with stains from tears of the heart, of the soul. With each passing day, the pages flutter away, the book of someone's life nearing to an end. My gaze travels around the library of life stories, unwanted memories floating down to the wet cement beneath my feet. A small thud echoes throughout the never-ending room, but is loud enough that it triggers an earthquake in my heart.
