[[THIS STORY HAS MENTIONS OF SUICIDE, SELF HARM, AND SEXUAL ABUSE.]] Y/N grew up a normal child. She had normal parents, an annoying younger brother, and good friends. Life was good to her. She wasn't a straight A student, but she got decent grades and was relatively smart. Until she moved out of her parents' house, confident she could take care of herself, by herself. She got a small house in a small neighborhood in Starlight Springs, Colorado, and for the first three months of living there, with a decent job, she was relatively happy. She was an artist as a hobby; people would sometimes commission her online, and she'd make a little extra money. However, three months after she gets her job, she ends up getting fired. Her rent increases around that time, and things go downhill. She calls up an old friend of hers from ninth grade, and she settles in as Y/N's roommate. She was nice at first, until she started getting nosey. She wanted to know where Y/N was at all times, what she was doing, or who she was talking to. Y/N was getting sick of her, but she didn't think she could kick her roommate out without losing the house, so she endured her suffering, continuing to look for a job and draw. One day, she posted one of her art pieces on a Discord server, looking for people to commission her, and in the process, she met a certain man named Fell. --- HIYA! IT'S ME! There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. I'm lost. Broken. And nobody knows. I help people, and when you help people, you don't get help. I couldn't look at myself think how a mess I was. It was too late for me to be fixed. Nobody could help me. I was too deep in it for being saved. I had too many scars and thought. I already had a broken mind. When I tried to kill myself and failed at it, they brought me to a mental facility. There I meet other teens with different stories and each with their problems. The longer I'm here, the more stories I get the knowledge. We come together to tell our stories so that we can move on from what hurt us in the past and what waits for us in the future.
