Life is a journey with multiple hurdles, each one harder than the other to cross. If a person crosses all these hurdles and remains alive is called a survivor. Life in a definition is existence. A reality of a loveless life is Naomi's story. Naomi as a young girl has always only been under the shadow of condescending and infantilizing men. She had a will of her own that has always been ignored, after getting married, the ideal husband Josiah is not the guy she thought he was. Naomi is struggling with a womanizer who portrays himself as a pure man.

Karine is Naomi's eldest daughter, she has her own story to tell. A story that involves her father, a story of how she retaliated to his torments. Her little steps have helped her to be the woman she is now. She has a happier life that is threatened to be affected by her past.

A remembrance of the past is the journey both Naomi and Karine have taken in order to forget what has happened in the past.
