Tlingit (People of the Tide) have resided in the Pacific North West region of North America since time immemorable. According to the spoken history of the elders, this is how the world came to be... as well as a few cautionary tales on how to survive in the unforgiving world. These stories were passed on to me at the feet of the elders. They are aa.too (most valued treasure).They do not belong to me. They belong to The People of the Tide. These words are mine. We Eukaryotes
About 1.5 billion years ago, the single-celled eukaryotes became the common ancestors of all multicellular plants, animals, and fungi. Fish evolved a primitive lung sac and four limbs, 350 million years ago, so they could crawl between fresh water swamps. About 250 million years ago, the ancestors of all mammals, were tiny nocturnal insectivores and, about 6 million years ago, we began walking on two legs. The most recent Ice Age (2.6 million to 12,000 years ago), severely reduced rainfall in Africa, where Homo habilis was evolving. In Homo erectus (1.9 to 0.5 million years ago), cranial capacity increased to between 850 and 1000 cm3 implying the phenomenal increase of 125,000 more neurons with each generation. Between 70 and 50 thousand years ago, Homo sapiens spread out from east Africa. Then, about 20,000 years ago, evolution made a sharp change in direction. After 250 million years, we ceased to be hunter gatherers. The Neolithic Revolution meant we could never go back. WHO THE HELL ARE WE? is a series of short books and videos describing the evolution of civilization. Almost everyone on the planet is five times wealthier than their ancestors only 50 years ago. This astonishing phenomenon has also improved health, education, and longevity. The cause; an explosive growth in ideas and productivity. It began when we learned to control fire, evolved articulate speech and stumbled onto the way to create infinite wealth; free trade. The discovery of agriculture made us richer but we also learned how to destroy wealth. Great civilization grew up but then disappeared leaving only incredible ruins and ideas. The One I'll Never Let Go Of (Kili fanfic)
Isola is a young hobbit woman who lives in the Shire with her less than parent worthy father. So she spends most of her free time with her cousin, Bilbo Baggins. One day, a wizard whom she vaguely remembers as Gandalf, comes to her while she is at work and asks her to join him and Bilbo at dinner that night for talk of a quest. She agrees to come to dinner, and is suprised to find a whole company of dwarves who are charming in their own way at her cousin's home. Isola joins the company for the adventure, and she learns that family does not have to be blood, and what it means to belong. And unexpected to her, she finds the one she'll never forget, and the one she'll never let go of. I would like to add that the chapters you read will not be fully edited until I complete the book. So there will be typos, flaws in the plot, ect. I am going to do some heavy editing at the end. Everything up until then is more of a draft. I do not own anything exept for Isola and some added plot. Everything else belongs to Peter Jackson and John Ronald Reuel Tolkein. Thank you! UPDATE!!!!!! As of right now, my book is on hold. I plan on coming back to it as soon as possible, but I don't have a for sure answer as to when that will be.

Writing Prompt from my friend: Sara leaves Germany to travel around the world, when she arrives in Presque Isle, Maine the Abenki tribe wolves attack her. Saved by Garrett of the pack, he wants her to stay in Presque Isle because he believes a descendent will imprint on her. After saving her life she has no choice but to agree to his simple plead of staying here for an unknown amount of time. She waits for half a century to finally get to meet the love of her life, but when he doesn't imprint on her like he should she is rejected from her assumed mate with force. She leaves her family to continue her travels around the world, but while no one is the wiser, will she fall for someone else or will her mate agree to take her? 17. That's how old I am today. It's about time too. I was getting sick of being 16. I hear a low rumble being emitted from my chest. I run towards the woods before the change takes over my body. As soon as I get to the woods near the lake I have come to know and love, ducks are floating in the middle looking for something to eat. I quickly strip down to only my sports braw and shorts, when and excrutiating paing takes over my body and I fall to the ground. My legs were the first to change. The bones snap and change shape for the first time. I scream out in pain as hair starts to grown eerywhere. The rest of my body is snapping and changing shape. My arms were the next to change... I seriously felt like dying. The pain of every first change is unbearable. Thankfully it all soon stops and I am standing on all fours. I walk towards the lake noticing that the ducks that used to be there were long gone. I must have scared them.
