Tlingit (People of the Tide) have resided in the Pacific North West region of North America since time immemorable. According to the spoken history of the elders, this is how the world came to be... as well as a few cautionary tales on how to survive in the unforgiving world. These stories were passed on to me at the feet of the elders. They are aa.too (most valued treasure). They do not belong to me. They belong to The People of the Tide. These words are mine. I respectfully use them to honor the stories of our past and echo the history of The People of the Tide to the next generation. Gunalchéesh! (Thank you!)
