A Poet's Secret
Being in love with your best friend isn't the ideal life situation but for Zora, it's her only life situation. It was dark, sunset, I waited for her to be done with volleyball practice 'because she was my ride'. Somehow we wandered from the gym to the football field and we were sitting at the very top of the bleachers staring at each other. Her dark hair mirrored the direction of the wind, the setting sun being replaced by the brightness of her smile. We were sitting so close I could feel her warmth. It was an unusual situation. Friends don't do this. We held eye contact for a long time before I couldn't take it anymore and just closed my eyes. It wasn't real, she was just my friend. Then, I felt her tuck a strand of my curly hair behind my ear. That with the chill of the night sent shivers down my spine and a swarm of butterflies attacked my stomach. I reopened my eyes. If she didn't want me, why did she look at me that way? I held her hand and I held it for so long because I didn't know if we'd have another moment like this. We talk and laugh and she tells me I'm pretty and I ask her if she'd just noticed that and we laugh again. I realize the feelings I felt in that moment were not just the intense feelings of attraction that I felt every time I was with her. Warmth flooded to my face and if it wasn't for my dark complexion, my blush would be noticeable. I look into her dark-colored eyes and I come to the conclusion that I'm royally fucked and I'm probably also in love.Concluida

"Stop, Megan!" I heard Skye call after me. I could hear the desperation that laced her voice. But I couldn't bring myself to turn back. How had I let myself get into this? How did I let myself fall in love with my best friends sister? This was all kinds of fucked up. "I said stop!" She raised her voice, pulling on my arm slightly. I could feel the similar sparks and tingles, but given the situation, I denied myself the pleasure of succumbing to the pleasure of it. Creative Writing
This past semester I took a Creative Writing class in which I enjoyed every minute of it. I decided that I might as well put up some of the stories, poems, and dramas that we wrote throughout the semester so that people could read them. To be honest, they aren't my best works due to my procrastination and needing to turn them in on time, so a few might be rushed and boring. I barely know this girl and yet, she is making me feel something I have not felt before. 2) I gave him a dagger look and tried to get away from his hold, but he did not let me. Instead, he put both his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him. Our faces are just inches away from each other. He was looking at me intently. My heart is beating so fast. I feel like I am going to melt from his gaze. "I am just messing with you. I am sorry. Forget about what I said. Just dance with me. For old time's sake." He smiled at me. I continued to look him straight in the eyes. "Why did I ever leave this amazing man in front of me?" I asked myself regretfully. I set aside all my inhibitions and placed both my arms around his neck. Even just for tonight, I will enjoy this moment. I rested my head on his shoulder and nuzzled my face on his neck.
