WARNING: despite the series' innocent looking title and cover image, this story contains some very mature themes. I recommend this book for ages 13 and older. 

Thousands of years ago, there were two rulers of the magical realm of Katze, Yin and Yang, who were destined to protect the realm. However, when one of the Original Two rebels against them and steals the dark orb which causes it to break, the rulers must make a grave sacrifice: return to the Dream World.

Using the Elemental Shards, they rid the world of the dark magic from the orb... which also rid the world of themselves. The shards were scattered around Katze, thought to never be seen again. However, a prophecy was spread, that one day, the shards would be found, and Yin and Yang could return. 

Cassette and her group are the ones destined to fulfill this prophecy. will they be able to restore the rulers? Or, will Katze forever last without its great protectors? This is the first book out of a four-book series. Follow their adventure as the chapters are released!

Elemental magic is based upon the four core elements - Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Elemental magic is most prominent in England, where many mages gather to learn and research elemental magic. However, during the early 1500's, the Fire Outbreaks happened. Several various fire mages suddenly swept through and destroyed the smaller cities of England, killing many in their way and leaving no survivors. Due to this the Council of Magic, the governing figure of elemental magic, issued an act - The Anti-Fire Act. This effectively banned any and all use of fire magic within all of England. The Council of Magic was later changed to the Triumvirate in the 1540's, and from then on are set on killing off every last fire mage. Allen Fleming, a 15 year old air mage, wishes to attend the Magical Knights Academy. The academy is where many young, prominent mages attend to improve their use of magic, and eventually become a magical knight. Magical knights are the respected mages who protect the cities of England and keep its citizens safe. But in order to even attend the academy, Allen must first pass the entrance exam. However, Allen's magic is extremely weak and he relies mostly on his physical fighting ability. Air is considered the strongest element within England, and with his lack of air magic prowess, many mages hate and ignore him. But what many do not know, is that Allen possesses a second element - the fire element! Without knowing who his real parents are, and having to keep his fire magic a secret, Allen has to work hard if he ever wishes to become a magical knight and achieve his goals. However, with tensions rising within the Triumvirate, fire mages on the run, and other events happening behind the scenes, Allen must go from being the weakest to the strongest if he even hopes to stop what may be coming in the near future.

He claims he's tried to seek it himself in the same city, but has never found it. While Sawyer is trying to find it, instead, she finds Eli. Eli and Sawyer tell a lot about themselves to each other. Sawyer then finds out, there's a lot more to Eli than she thought when she discovers his psychic abilities... she is extremely tempted to do multiple risks that she's never thought she'd be able to do.
