Melanie was paranoid, always watching over her shoulder to ensure that danger was far behind her, which wasn't uncommon for a hacker of the Rising Tide. When SHIELD show's up in her and Skye's lives, she finds herself peering over her shoulder a lot more, unable to trust anyone, keeping secrets about her life that could lead to her breaking the teams trust. Secrets are dangerous in SHIELD, especially since you never know a spy's true intentions. You never know what people are willing to use against you. You never know who is a friend and who is an enemy. Is Grant Ward the one person that she could find herself being able to trust? To open herself up to? A Part of Something Bigger
The team as teenagers and they're in school. Life holds mysteries and surprises. Both enter or have already entered our characters' new lives. They have to figure out how to manage that, their secrets, and their lives at the same time. It isn't easy but they won't give up. So basically, I turned the Agents of SHIELD team into a family, with May and Coulson as the parents, and watched the drama unfold both in school and at home.
The Infinite
Only a few months after joining the team, Fitz creates his greatest invention yet: a machine with the ability to travel through time. He and Simmons test it out and travel to the past, but they don't expect things to go so wrong. They certainly don't expect to be thrown into the greatest danger they've ever known. And one of them will be thrown to a world that's even more frightening than the past: their impending future. A FitzSimmons realistic time-travel fic ( if there is such a thing). Not AU. PG. I paused mid-sip, lowering my cup as I looked at him-silent, but completely focused. He had my full attention. His words hit hard, and I felt my eyes begin to sting. I always knew my feelings for Fitz were strong... but I hadn't realized how deep his were too. Author's Note: Hey everyone! I started writing this story a few weeks after the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 finale. I kept thinking, Where could Jemma have gone? That one question sparked the entire idea. Eventually, I was drawn to one of the most iconic cities in the Marvel universe as the setting.
