Welcome to L.I.F.E Academy! Like most of you know, this school is for animal-fused bright minds. We are in the heart of California, but we are hidden. We have a lab where everyone is fused with the animal we have chosen for you. We have everyone carry around a journal about how the new animal parts have affected your life style. Today we will be reading the journal of our first student to be fused, Ryder Black. He along with his twin brother and his friend group all learned to get used to their new abilities and hopefully you will see them soon today. All of the students will be supplied with Mr. Black's journal and you can read it to find out how everything works. And one word for our "lion-fused" students, you will have Ryder and Rydell Black's journals. Now, head off to your homerooms and you can find out who your roommate is after 2nd hour. Maybe Too Protective
We reached the hospital and Ryder, still being gentle, jumped out of the car. Zach opened the doors for him and they rushed inside the emergency room. "We need a little help." Max asked the nurse at the table. SHe seemed a little bit annoyed. "Sir this is the trauma center. If you have an emergency that can wait...Oh my gosh." She spoke once she looked at me. "Dr!" She looked at a blonde woman walking by. "Yes?" The woman walked over with a smile on her face. The nurse pointed at me. "Over here." She lead the guys to a hospital bed that they laid me down. "If it means anything, she has panic attacks." Ryder explained. "Page Shepard." She told someone. "What's her name?" "Lucy." Ryder told them. Then, light people around me became blurs, than darkness. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Maybe you had some high school bullies, but I hope they weren't like Lucy Smith's bullies. Lucy Smith is entering into her first year of high school, going to school with her best friend and four out of her five older, protective brothers. Being part of the Smith family gives her some different effects on the the guys around her and some people don't take too kindly to that. 'Book 1 in the Shifter series' My name is Celina Birch and until yesterday me, and my siblings; Sydney and Alexander but Alex for short, thought we were human. Turns out we our from a family of shifters but, we would not know thy due to our parents dying when we were young and being adopted. The animal you shift into does not run in blood like people think. Yes, some family's lean more towards one animal but there are occasions where a member will shift into a different animal. It all depends on your personality. There are 22 types of animals you can shift into. Some are common and some are rare. Now we have the birds: the Ravens, the Eagles, the Vultures, and the Falcons. Then we have the felines: the Panthers, the Tigers, the Cougars, the Snow Leopards, the Cheetahs, and the Lions. Then we have our canines: the wolves, the foxes, the coyotes, and the hyena's. Are common because there are the mythical ones too. The flying creatures: the Hippogriffs, the Dragons, the Pegasus's, the Phoenixes, the Thunderbirds. The water creatures: the Sirens, the Mermaids, the Kelpies. The shapeshifting academy is kind of like Hogwarts with the letters and using owls for sending mail. Yes, there is a castle for the academy and no, there isn't any witch or wizards those are supposedly extinct. Now I have to go were going to find out what animal we shift into at the ceremony soon. If only I knew then that there was actually 23 types of shifters ~~~~~~~~~~ I wrote this series when i was very young, so any mistakes or grammar issues, or long descriptions, I am sorry about, but I won't be fixing them anytime soon either.Complete
My Bad Boy And The Gang.
I look at California. She sits on my lap in the circle of us pot heads. She's not what I expected. She smokes she's the most sarcastic person I've ever met. She's smart but hates school. She's a girly girl who hates dresses. She defies logic in so many different ways I expect her to sprout a horse tail and start flying. Heck when we first talked Tuesday she called me handsome and looked confused herself. She acts like she has no secrets, and maybe she doesn't, but there's something different about her. She holds confidence yet she's shy. She smokes even though she's supposed to be the typical good girl. I'm determined to find out what she's hidding if it's the last thing I do. "Baby it's almost one am." I say glancing at my phone. "We should head out, your dad already dislikes me." She turns back to me and nods. She lightly stands up and walks to the door but waits for me to walk with her. "Trevor!" She yells in her friends ear making him jump away from her other friend Greg. "You get a ride with Mar okay?" He needs and foes back to his public make out session with the other boy leaving Cali with a look of approval and bewilderment. She clips her hair over her shoulder exposing the skin of her upper back due to the low dip on the back of her dress. In the split second I see the skin I think I see a black crow with a green eye, but that's crazy. Only crow members can get crow tattoos and only descendants of the original crow can have the green eye. By tattoo that's on my lower back has a red eye. The red eye means non blood related member. But I have a smaller one with a blue eye beside it. The blue eye means leader. When California's biggest secret is discovered by her new boyfriend will she be able to keep her past and family secret the secret she wants it to be? Will the secret tear the couple apart or push them closer together?Complete

Ever since that day they have been harassing him physically and emotionally. As his twin, she took it upon herself to protect him- if she had to swing a fist, you bet your asses she would! Here enter Luke Rivers, he was a part of the "No Brainy Bunch" as Juliet liked to call the Football team.
