Reversal of Stone

Demons crawl among the city of Rathiere--what was once the bustling capital of the kingdom. After an invasion involving the local College mages, the citizens were turned to stone and the king's throne was overtaken by an upstart named Reginald. Meanwhile, the prince who faked his death later finds himself being helped by a noble woman when he returns to see what became of Rathiere, who is actually a rogue in league with Reginald.

Also hiding within the city is an outsider mage, studying the statues in attempt to create a reversal to the spellwork. A Templar on night-watch comes across her, and by dawn becomes an ally in her efforts. Within the same sunrise, either duo is discovered and are forced to flee Raithere through the sewers. Soon, they find themselves on a quest, each far beyond their original role in the events at hand, but finding one messenger isn't where it will end.
