Sitting in her 3rd hour class waiting for it to be over, Katie, starts looking off into the distance. Sarah, her best friend, tries to get her attention, it wasn't working. Trinity, the girl who sits in the row next to her, calls her name while snapping in her face. Sarah or Trinity didn't know what she was starring at, then the bell rang, Katie jumped.
Sarah and Katie walked to 4th hour together, like they always do. Katie wanted to walk another way, Sarah, not asking why, agreed. Katie ran into the the band room, ran to the lockers, grabbed her trumpet and her music. Sarah, still confused, grabbed her clarinet and her music.
Katie started to realize that she was falling in love, and no one knew it. Not even herself.
