Arcane Rebirth

The world is having a rebirth, and humanity is at the front, taking charge and prospering. They are finding ways to further improve their inventions by adding magic, the most wonderful and powerful force on the planet. However, some are trying to take their rebirths further to take control of humanity.

Celestia and Di'Varion are the leading cities of the "Renaissance," and everyone is trying to get their hands on whatever the two cities produce. Mafias are rising up, retrieving information, hustling citizens, and threatening high officials to try to get the best of what magic and technology have to offer.

Dex works under the biggest mafia in Di'Varion. On an intel run, he ends up discovering something big, which ends with him having to hide it from his boss and finding out more.

Rose works under the smallest mafia in Celestia. She wishes to do more, but is limited because she's a woman. When she stumbles upon something that could bring the planet to ruin, she, along with a few others, end up being the only ones who can do anything about it.

Will they be able to do it? Or will they die trying?
