 He doesn't talk. He doesn't like to. 
Every time he does the words don't come out right. Some of them don't come out at all. 
Isaac Barnes has a stutter. It's the reason he's shielded himself away from the judgemental eyes of society. Every time he talks to someone their mouths hang open shamelessly in shock of his speech impediment. 
There's word going around that there's a new girl. Apparently, she's just as weird as the 'boy who can't speak' with her red hair and bright green eyes. Isaacs never met anyone one as left out and isolated as he is.
