Only souls that have bonded with the greatest evil get cursed by the Gods of their multiverse.
They get sealed away in a place that's between, outside and inside everything. A place that shouldn't exist where all they can do is wait for the Curse to find them. Their souls will be disfigured to a point of no recognition and like this they will have to stay for the end of existence which everyone should know is eternal.
