Violet Peers is a normal teenage girl. She goes to a normal school, giggles over normal boys, does normal sports, has a normal family. She goes to her dad's perfectly normal book store after school, and even has a normal best friend. Her life is as simple and plain as any.
Asher Dashiell's life is the opposite.
He spends his time helping out a notorious gang, The Wild Ones, and doesn't do things for the good. He knows how to shoot a gun, has multiple times without hesitation, and wouldn't mind doing it again.
Asher has never thought about living a normal life, until the day he runs into Violet. Then, he see's that he wants a chance at a normal life, at a normal relationship, even if it's only partially.
