An entire section of the Explorations Initiative was given a mission. And following the mission instructions, thousands of scientists, workers, engineers, military officers, and pilots boarded a famous Space Cruiser and sped off into space, searching for something they later nicknamed 'it' because they had little-to-no information about what they had to retrieve, but they had a surplus amount of how to do it. Too bad all of that information is as useful as dust because whatever they're after, whatever it can do, it seems to be very able to evade capture.  

Join them on their dangerous journey across the stars, and galaxies, as they search planets and engage combat with hostile species and humans across space on a mission to find an object unknown to the universe itself.

For years the federal governments from all the nations on earth has been secretly investing and contributing with each other on space and military developments without the population of their countrymen knowing about what they ( the government ) was doing, and now the secrets might pay off now that every country on earth has no choice but to come together as one people. The USA ( not the United States ) has built four star ships in the past ten years at Space Station United in space a few hundred miles behind Space Station Freedom . Through the years moon bases have also been built on the moon, and now paper and coin currencies are completely gone. Everyone on Earth has one card with a chip in it that has everything about you on it and the new currency for everyone is credit and bits.

While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves. So they stayed civil while still doing what it took to survive.
