(Previously titled My Dead Best Friend. New blurb)Things change after death, and that's exactly what happened when Ariana died. Riley, her best friend,was upset and completely broken so Ariana decided to visit her no matter what rules the Angels have made, no matter how much trouble she gets in, she can't be punished anyway because she is a very special ghost. Nothing will stop Ariana and nothing could, even if it tried because Ariana plans to change how the Otherworld is run, because Riley needs her and thats what best friends are for, right?

The Ghost Book
An expert forensic team are called to the base to investigate a digital security breach, leading to the 141 team hosting one of the investigators. Their temporary guest, a rather odd young woman, seems to have an extreme and rather troubling reaction to Ghost's presence. But when clues to her strange behaviour are uncovered, Ghost's anger and suspicious nature gets the best of him and his quest for answers, forces him to face the darkest parts of himself. So this is a wee bit different. This story formed part of a longer work in progress. However, as that story grew, it was clear that this arc, added an unnecessarily complicated aspect to my main protagonist. Rather than let the longer story get too messy, I decided to make this a short story on it's own. The character is similar but I did end up changing her name and back story.Terminé

" You only truly miss someone when they are gone. And sometimes, it's hard to let go. But you have to let him go..." It is hard when your loved one is gone. But for Riley, it was something different. In a sick sort of way, she loved it-reminiscing about Leo, literally drowning in the memories of him. And it isn't long till Riley does drown herself among those gray memories, shutting and shunning the world forever, in a place too far to reach. She is already so gone, that every one of her friends and family are very close to giving up, and on each tick of the clock Riley is close to letting go. Will a curious stranger's words save her, or will Riley try to save herself? *If you read the summary, and decided that it is some sort of typical clichè , I'd like to tell you that this is NOT a cliche 'damsel-in-distress-saved-by-a-knight-in-shining-armour' story at all. You won't find anything such as that, as the tags suggests too. But yes, there will be few moments of cliche.* •Warning• : Things about suicide, self-harm, depression; contains kissing and cuss words-so read at your own risk And also, even though it's edited, it still can have few mistakes.
