Kendall has always lived a quiet life in a small town in Illinois with her family, friends, and boyfriend Jordan. Her life had been mostly happy other than when her best friend moved away when she was 10. It took her years to get over that loss. Then several years later, tragedy struck when her father passed away suddenly and Kendall was forced to move with her mom closer to Chicago where she could find a job to support the two of them. As he catches up to me, he grabs my arm swings me around and with one swift movement he ushers me into a nearby empty classroom with the lights off. He cages me in against the wall. His close proximity is making me dizzy and my mind is thinking very dirty thoughts. Wait no. I can't think like that anymore. "Kendall." He says hungrily. "You are mine and only mine. You drive me wild and no one else can have you." He says as he attacks my lips. It feels so amazing I can't help but kiss him back. I run my hands through his beautiful hair and he groans into the kiss. Man I don't want this to ever end. I feel drunk on him. I don't think I can let him go. He stops suddenly to finish his thoughts. "No one can make you feel like this. Or kiss you here...." He says as he kisses down my neck. I moan and he smirks pulling his face impossibly close to mine. "..or touch you." He says as he takes his hand and brushes it lightly down my arm and he snakes it back around my back pulling me even closer if that is possible. Some of this timeline has less detail than the rest, but I have better memory of things that have happened in the past year than I remember things that happened six and seven years ago. My memory is faulty, but so is yours. I don't remember every second of everything that happened, but I do have many memories that I still cherish, even if you don't remember them. My whole life is 'have to.' I have to work full-time to pay the bills and keep food on the table. I have to finish college for a chance at a better job, no matter how long it takes. I have to manage my mom's sobriety so I can keep her out of jail. I have to keep a smile on my face, so no one knows how hard it's been. Now, I have to ignore the curious feelings that flutter in my chest whenever my devastatingly handsome new English professor, Fitzwilliam Benedict, is nearby. Of course, that's kind of impossible because I have to face his storm-tossed eyes and broad shoulders in class every other evening if I want to graduate with my perfect grade-point intact. And it's getting harder to ignore the way his thoughtful gaze sees all the way down to the truth I don't want anyone to know. As there is no reply from him I raised my eyes to see him.He was watching me with intent and slowly his lips curled up forming a satisfying smile.He slowly moved towards me which increased my heart beat and held my hands into his. "Your voice.." He said still staring deeply into my eyes. I gave a question mark expression and he continued "I have heard your voice for the first time in all these days and it's too sweet." He told and laughed intently. "Don't worry princess . Try to enjoy your life. don't hold back yourself. He told and left my hands and before turning back he caressed my hair with his hand with a nod and left to my dad. "Princess" --. This is what my dad calls me and it felt good for some reason when he called me the same.And yes these are my first words since the day I came from college and found all this surprise.
