Child's play isn't so simple anymore.
It's 1986. Nancy Reagan is President and the hot new pastime is Arcade Adventure Gaming, where players explore the Realm of Vircon in parties. Kids compete to top leaderboards in the four US Regional Divisions, trying for a shot at prizes and scholarships. Recently, a handful of players have gone missing.
The old guy in the van almost kills Wyatt Jackson but a robot straight out of Doctor Who knocks them both out. When Wyatt wakes up, he's stuck in the Realm of Vircon game. As he meets the rest of his Party they discover that their would-be kidnappers are in there with them.
Can they evade their enemies and convince the mysterious force running the game to let them log out and go home?

" Night City, a heavily polluted futuristic city of California, built upon domestic violence, eddies (eurodollars) and drugs, it has been named the most dangerous place and worst place to live in America. Born into nothing, V, living in the harden streets of Heywood, a low income suburb outside the red light district, was raised by gangs that became family. Night City was cruel, cold, and hardening. All is provided, yet everything is lacking. The Metro is the plenum, a future-city of color and exuberance, but its citizens are full of violence and greed. If there is any hope for peace it lies with the Iris, a machine that can link the minds of every human-being to create a single mind, a single energy. Someone just has to push the button. Sean, born into this world of hate, sets out to do the impossible: to take the data he has stolen off the internet and turn on the Iris. His journey will set off one of the greatest rat-chases the Metro has ever seen. All the big players are in on it, to stop or help Sean's mad rush to the Iris. There's Casey with her army of gangsters, who wants nothing else but to make sure the Metro stays a jungle. There's Randal the mutant, a creature of nightmare surrounded by other misbegotten souls, cursed with an inexplicable fate. And then there's Tommy the Bouncer, Tommy the Butcher, Tommy the Terrible, who just wants to beat everything to a bloody pulp. These players and more all have their eyes on the prize: the Black Tape, the switch that if flicked may set off an age of no-death. Maybe. In the end, Sean will discover that the Metro might be too far gone. Hope's slim, but it's there. He just has to try. Easier said than done.Complete

Not only have I never seen him before in my life but everyone in our town always wears nice clean and washed clothes, therefore nobody should be looking like him. The boy has a small cut on his cheek and is thin, a lot thinner than he should be. I look away from him and around at my surroundings, there is no one else here. Cyberpunk: 2075
Crossing over into the world of Cyberpunk 2077 should be an opportunity to make a big splash... Wait, hold on, isn't this the year 2075? Sure, it's already November, and 2076 is just around the corner, but I only know about what happens in 2077! In this world, you might not want to live, but you can't afford to not have a job. Anyway, let's start by becoming a mercenary and picking up gigs. That sounds simple enough, but getting a job from a fixer only to face off against an ACPA (Armored Combat Personal Assist) right off the bat-aren't we going a bit overboard here? And who's this daughter of Michiko Arasaka? I've only seen the demo; I don't know these people! What kind of chaotic mission is this!?
Life and Death
In order to force citizens to remain peaceful after the riots about birth control, the massive country of Americo decided to allow scientists to stimulate the afterlife once they die. If a citizen was good and broke no laws, then the scientists would stimulate Heav, the equivalent to Heaven. If a citizen broke a few minor laws, they would go for Rebirth, where they are born with the same personality and mind, just different looks. If a citizen goes to jail for more than 15 years, the scientists would stimulate Ell, the equivalent to Hell. Lorian Hurando, director of the Afterlife Project, knows things about the system that few people know about. But when a letter arrives in the ocean of death threats one day that tells him to 'retire' or he will be in grave danger, he took the chance and retired. The letter is one in a series of letters that is all from a mysterious sender initialed H in cursive. When the final letter tells him to shut down the Afterlife, he must decide between right and wrong. But first he must know which is which. Heather Dia is the daughter of a store manager. When her dad is falsely accused and is sent to Ell, she is heartbroken and decides to get revenge on Director Lorian and leads him on a wild goose chase in order to shut down Afterlife, telling him that he will be in grave danger. But as time progresses, Heather wonders if she'll be right.Complete

This story will detail the rebel trail one corpo will travel in order to uncover the sick truth underneath Night City, to love and lost, to confront the streets where only the most unrelenting mercs will survive. In the future science had engineered an entirely unique gaming system. Therefore, you could enter the game as yourself. You felt pain, hunger and such with your nervous system uploaded. But once you die, game over, you harmlessly return to the real world. Whether in an Arcade, bedroom or such, the game can be activated with nothing but a computer and wiring system. This time something goes wrong, a glitch in the server. So, entering this dangerous glitch provided that whenever it's "Game Over.", it's game over in the real world as well.
