a coming-of-age story about a naive and innocent sophomore, roxanne "roxy" richards.

a previously famous james franco retires from his acting career and returns to his hometown palo alto to teach a drama class at his alma mater, paly high. in this story, we will meet our protagonist and her love interest, and be taken through a series of events occurring after their first encounter. roxy's innocence will be narrated by franco himself as he recalls the details of his relationship with the youthful ingénue, the muse and inspiration for his newest novel after a 5-year writer's block.
