I turned to see who had spoken and scream at them in absolute outrage that they believed they had the right to touch my special quill pen, but when I saw the perpetrator, I froze.

He was fair, with dark brown hair that almost reached his emerald eyes shining with curiosity.

"What, has a sea monster got your tongue?" he winked, "I'll gladly give you your silly contraption if you answer my question."

I stared at the man. There could be no way, I told myself. No way in any possible universe. He couldn't be.
