Second book in the Imperfect Trilogy --- "Don't let yourself fall like she did Mae. We don't need another victim of depression." --- Maedana. It is a name that is spreading throughout the Complex like wildfire. With her name, a letter is spread as well. A letter that can provoke more rebellion than a hundred deaths. F F meant many things, but the meanings were all different. To some, it meant freedom. To some, it meant hope that there was life if you escaped. But not to Mae. To her, F means one thing only. Failure. But in the darkness of recent events, Mae is rethinking her grade, the black F tattooed to her shoulder. It no longer meant failure. It meant fear. But it seems that she will have to deal with the fear, because rebel numbers are growing in the complex, and war is just around the corner. Has Mae trusted the wrong people? How many secrets doesn't she know? How can she save herself from this imperfect war?

"You can't change fate, can you?" I watch as my "future self" goes limp. Blood surrounding the body. Kaburamaru curled up on my chest. I felt present Kaburamaru tighten around my neck. Suddenly we see someone run in. "Obanai!!!!" She yells. It was Mitsuri. "NOO!!" She's crying. I look at present Mitsuri. She's also crying. She looks scared. Mitsuri goes up to me. "Am I too late?" She frantically checks my pulse. "No, no, no, no, no. This can't be happening... I knew it was going to happen. How did I let it happen?" I based the storyline on the Scrooge musical since I watched it not that long ago. Also there are some heavy topics in this book including suicide, eating disorders, panic attacks, death, and self harm. If this triggers you DONT READ I don't own the cover. credit to @Asya on Pinterest. (@aoO_0nemu on Twitter) I also don't own any of these characters (obviously) They are all Koyoharu Gotouges characters.
