Six years after Phoebe's only friend disappears from the neighbouring orphanage without a trace, she finds a portal to another realm. She makes the mistake in entering it, and into Lerridon. Learning that her disappeared friend, Lucifer, has taken over Lerridon and make its citizens fear him, she sets off in the pretense of finding her way home with Rebecca and Beetle, two Lerridians. Instead, she aims to find Lucifer and convince him to come back with her. However, everything turned out differently from what she expected.
