NS Writer's Group compiled a book of short fairy tales. Six members from varying backgrounds each wrote a fairy tale for the compilation. I will share mine, Bearskin, with you. It is about a girl who is tormented by the town bully, but discovers that his cruelness comes from living with an abusive father. Just when she begins to see who he truly is, his father curses him with a seven year bear curse. Though he looks like a monster on the outside, does he have the strength to overcome his upbringing and the terrible curse, or will he become a monster on the inside as well?All Rights Reserved
