Just another fic about Gerard. I don't have a common update schedule so....sorry.

i didnt think i would finish a whole story, let alone begin a second half! lets see if i can make it. the first half only took a year to write. you know the drill, this story has and will contain very explicit and triggering material, including ED, S/H, drug abuse, s/a, suicidal ideation, and violence. writing is a coping mechanism of mine, but i know that reading these stories while experiencing these issues can be harmful to ones self. please avoid reading this at all costs if that is the case. you can reach out to me if you need someone to talk to. thanks

Because who doesn't love a revenge era Frerard? It's 2004 and My Chem are on tour. It should be a happy time, and yet Gerard finds himself spiralling, caught in a toxic relationship and even more toxic addictions. The only people that can seem to get through to him at all are his bandmates, but that's becoming complicated too, as he's accidentally fallen in love with one of them. Disclaimer/warning - this story deals with alcohol and substance abuse. I don't want to romanticise it at all - if anything, this is about how love doesn't automatically fix these issues.

If you haven't heard of My Chemical Romance, then that's PERFECTLY okay. Not too many people really care about a small band from Belleville New Jersey. Trust me NO ONE cares about them. But I do because they are only barely 2 years older than me and I go to the exact same high school they did. Now as everything's falling apart and I have to move to California and in with my Aunt Helena in the middle of my senior year, I just hope I've got enough MCR to help get me through. My friends all wish me luck and say, "Oh Allison. Allie. It'll be just fine. You'll be fine. California's fun, lots of new experiences, and ALL that sun. The beach, the bands, the BOYS, and I think MCR lives out there now. In fact they do. So you COULD like maybe hook up with one of them. But of course if that WERE to ACTUALLY happen I'd have to stop being your friend. But California will be fun. I'll miss you sure. But it'll be fun. Good Luck!" I try believing them, but it's hard after what's happened. I will go and be happy though, for my friends.

It's not like I asked for this. I didn't ask. I didn't want this. But now there's nothing in this world that I could want more. Him, next to me. Smiling. Us sitting next to each other. Holding hands. Kissing. Hugging. Everything. Frank; a depressed kid with problems no one could imagine. And a desire to die. Gerard; another depressed kid who doesn't want life anymore. 3:39 am. Gerard finds Frank passed out on the beach. 5:24 am. Frank wakes up in his room with no memory of two hours before. 6:12 am. Mikey, Gerard's brother, sits in his brother's room, talking about the boy Gerard found on the beach. 9:52 am. Gerard wonders about the boy on the beach. 10:43 am. Frank wonders why he's still alive. 12:37 pm. Mikey wonders why his friend, Frank, is acting so weird. 2:19 pm. Gerard leaves the house and goes to the beach, where he found the boy. 3:49 pm. Frank realises someone found him. 5:26 pm. Mikey wants to know what the fuck is going on with the two important people in his life. Please don't read this, I wrote it when I was 12/13. Gerard and Frank have been married for almost two years. Everything has been going fine. Jobs are a success. But, Gerard falls ill, and he already knows what is happening. He had carried a child before, in his high school years, but that lead to a miscarriage. Gerard knows he's pregnant, and it raises past fears and depression. He starts doubting his trust on Frank, and starts to isolate his true feelings to protect his unborn child. Mikey urges Gerard to tell Frank, but his older brother is hesitant. His last boyfriend deserted him. Would Frank, his beloved husband, desert him, too?

Frank is twenty eight: he's mentally stable for the most part, and well nobody has to know about pills he takes twice a day, do they? He's normal now, he's a person now, he's a fucking adult with an office job and he fucking hates it and that's fine, because he got out of the mental hospital three years ago, and these past three years of mundane nothingness have been the best three years of his life. Ten years ago, or so, Frank was in love with a boy called Gerard with fiery red hair and the personality of a switchblade knife, and ten years ago that boy called Gerard had killed himself. Frank still saw him though: hallucinations, as he knew them to be now, and it took him years in a hospital he never thought he'd get out of to convince himself of his newfound sanity, but he was okay now. Twenty eight year old Frank Iero had been officially 'okay' since he was twenty five. He hadn't seen Gerard again, and he didn't even think about the guy - he was just normal, and he was almost painfully content with being the secretary to someone with a five figure salary. But of course, on one fateful morning in December, that has to go and change, doesn't it? (Technically a sequel to Summertime, but I wouldn't say you need to have read Summertime to understand and enjoy this)

Nicole the eighteen year old nobody, the outcast, the loser, the stupid little mistake of her father and mother. Nicole didn't pick her parents, no one does, in fact they will be our parents till the day we die. But when you have and abusive alcoholic father like she does, you can only question why God hates you, what did you do to deserve this? Nicole knew that if she told anybody they would laugh at her and pull her away from her soft spoken mother, and she didn't want that, Nicole only had her mother, her absolute best friend Zach and the Band My Chemical Romance. Thankfully her best friend Zach knew everything about her and stood by her side no matter what. One day on the way to school in Zach's little Buick Century, they decided to skip and waste the day waiting for the My Chemical Romance concert that night, and thankfully they were at the right K-mart at the right time, because in the tiny little K-mart on the side of the road they met Frank Iero, guitar king, and because of him Nicole and Zach met the love of their lives. Even though everything seems perfect, it's not because Nicole's dad is angry and looking for revenge. Will Nicole be able to live happily ever after with her love, or will she be brought back to the hell house with her father and mother? Find out in, Gerard Way and Me.
