"Eleanor, what do you think pain is really all about?" Booker asked, his light blue eyes cast towards the stars. I shrugged, the thought swirling around in my mind.
"I had never really thought about it until now." I replied honestly, looking down. He sat up and shoved his hands in his makeshift pockets and looked down upon me.
"I think pain is progress. Something that helps one to learn of themselves." Booker said, his tone laced with something I couldn't quite read.
The world Eleanor lives in is that represented by the aches of one's heart. Blades protruding from one's back tells a story each of the hardships and pain they have endured in their lives. When a mysterious boy shows up in the forest, Eleanor and her brother Nathaniel take him in.
