Maemi Amaya wakes up just as the Fourth Shinobi World War comes to a close, in a hospital located in Konoha. She has been asleep for the past year, but she remembers everything from before. Which is exactly the problem. Finding out Tsunade is her real mother and that she wasn't from Amegakure (the Hidden Rain Village) like she'd always thought ripped up her already bruised and battered life. What makes it worse are the nightmares that haunt her every night, the ones she can't stay awake to escape. Remembering her old life and her old bonds hurts her, but the longer she stays in Konoha, the more she heals. Meeting Kiba Inuzuka, her best friend, made her realize that being stuck in the past doesn't achieve anything, and that no one in her present or past would want her to waste time stuck. And then, they're put into groups of five and given this six-month long, team-building mission to strengthen ties between Suna and Konoha...

Sorry too those that were reading this.. I've decided to quit writing this. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ She grew up in a loving household, her mother and father kept her happy and never did anything to harm her. She didn't have many friends but hey she didn't mind, after all she was a young naive child. Things changed a few days after Ashanna had turned six years old. (I won't tell you why though :3) Her mother started treating her terribly and so did the other children. Seven years pass and here she is a freshman in highschool. Ashanna grew up to be a very smart child and was able to skip her eighth grade year. You would think people would be proud of her right? Well your wrong. Ever since then she was treated ten times worse. Her bullying turned physical and even the teachers turned the heads. But one day she's given a second chance.. How will she deal with this new life? Sonia was a young girl from the Yamanaka and Uchiha clans. Her mother being of the Yamanaka clan, and her father of the Uchiha clan. When she was 3 years old, a scarring event occurred, she had a part of the devil forcefully sealed within her soul. She met Gaara at a young age after she had been adopted in Suna. Her adoptive mother gave birth to a child by the name of Iku and he became like a younger brother to Sonia. All of those things became a blur to her after a certain incident occurred with Gaara. Then years passed, many things happened, and she enrolled in the ninja academy of Konoha for her final year. Only meeting Gaara again in the chunin exams. *EDIT: Yes, I realize that there are a lot of mistakes and POV changes in this story and I apologize for that, this was my first fanfic. I'll fix it later on but for now please bear with it. There are also a few scenes where a few characters go OOC, I'll try to fix that too when I have the time. I realize my writing left some things to be desired, but I was 14 and English isn't my first language.
