Maemi Amaya wakes up just as the Fourth Shinobi World War comes to a close, in a hospital located in Konoha. She has been asleep for the past year, but she remembers everything from before. Which is exactly the problem. Finding out Tsunade is her real mother and that she wasn't from Amegakure (the Hidden Rain Village) like she'd always thought ripped up her already bruised and battered life. What makes it worse are the nightmares that haunt her every night, the ones she can't stay awake to escape. Remembering her old life and her old bonds hurts her, but the longer she stays in Konoha, the more she heals. Meeting Kiba Inuzuka, her best friend, made her realize that being stuck in the past doesn't achieve anything, and that no one in her present or past would want her to waste time stuck. And then, they're put into groups of five and given this six-month long, team-building mission to strengthen ties between Suna and Konoha...

Naruto realizes his feelings for Hinata as he spends more time with her but puts them aside. War being right around the corner, he couldn't help but grimace at his decision to confess to her when it was announced and didn't think it was appropriate when everyone is so stressed about it. Naruto does not remember that Hinata confessed to him at all. Childhood traumas further prevent him from expressing his feelings. Hinata, meanwhile is saddened that Naruto doesn't remember her confession but decides to not bring it up. Protecting herself from further embarrassment. When the war was announced she distracted herself by getting stronger. She wanted to improve herself. ★••••★ A/N: I'm going to boost most of the characters skill sets and flesh out their potential that was wasted in the series. Did the whole cast dirty imo. The story will be edited/fixed after completion. P.S. Naruto will not be Ashura's reincarnation. However Sasuke will still be Indra if that makes sense? Naruhina will be reincarnations.
