A hunting trip leads to her parents death. This girl isn't human she's actually a coyote. After her first hunting trip a strange sound echos across the Coyote Territory. A deer hunter wants to keep the population of coyotes down so that there are more deer to catch. After a heartbreaking experience for this young pup she gets adopted by another coyote named Thunder. After a few months of calling the pup coyote pup she chooses her name to be Ruby Wilde. She later finds out that Thunder isn't her real mom and makes probably the most important decision of her life. She wishes to become a human. Ruby and her new friends Sasha and Ella have to go through the hardest experience of their lives- high school. Bullies and psycho headmasters and forgotten enemies and flashbacks of life as a canine. Boyfriends and experiments get in the way of what these girls are supposed to find- the life of a normal human- but they can never be ordinary. They are extraordinary.
