Set in 1930 Kyunsung, South Korea, Ryu Soo Hyeon finds herself living her days as a male in a bar by the name of Carpe Diem. Her comrades, Seo Hwi Young, a writer, and Shin Yul, the owner, all attempt to live as greatly as they can.

During a revolution, however, the three find themselves tangled in group known as the Joseon Youth Alliance. Here, they take extreme measures to fight for what is theirs and liberate their country.

With both the Japanese government and what seems to be a never-ending love triangle latching onto the bar, can this group accomplish their goals? Or is failure awaiting them on the other side?
