But it was the nights we spent together that I loved the most, driving to the middle of nowhere listening to some soppy smiths song, talking about the world, politics, philosophy. We'd stay all night sipping on red wine with a huge bowl of pasta watching some French film acting like proper adults. Those nights where we would listen to the whole Alex turner album on repeat and just slowly dance and you would tease me and tell me how submarine was crap and I would laugh and roll my eyes and you would look into my eyes with so much adoration. The nights where we would get high and watch old Seinfeld re-runs and you would always bring over a new record. The nights where we made love with the dull hum of radiohead playing in the background, and afterwards we would fall asleep in each others arms happy. Whenever I was with you I was happy. You were my everything and I was yours. I was blinded by love.
