Remnant is a land full of legends and stories. Some are more popularly known such The Story of the Seasons and the legend of the Silver-Warriors. However, there is one legend that has been long forgotten and buried deep in Remnant's history. This is the legend of The Grimm Hunter, a creature of terrible power that was believed to have terrorized Humanity before the four Kingdoms were established and shortly after Humanity discovered Dust. It's been depicted to be an amalgamation of different Grimm with the ability to absorb the life-force of any creature with a soul. Not only did doing so regenerate any dealt wounds, but also allowed it to convert it into dark and destructive energy. Even though The Grimm Hunter was a creature of darkness itself, it also slaughtered Grimm with the same level of ferocity it showed Humanity. However, just as it seemed The Grimm Hunter would eradicate all of Humanity, it vanished without a trace. Not many know what happened to it but the legend speculates that a squadron of Silver-Eyed Warriors defeated it. But, that's not the truth, now is it? This may be the first fanfic that's about the monster from the reverse-horror game called Carrion! Let's see how it goes! All art, videos, music, etc. belong to their original owners. I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING, BUT MY OWN WRITING!!!!! Beware of spoilers. Play the game or watch the gameplay of Carrion to truly understand the character. Also, I won't be using anything the game trailers showed us. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After butchering and consuming everyone in that underground laboratory and escaping under the guise of a human, you went into hiding in society. Switching between appearances to stay hidden along with eating people that no one would miss, especially criminals. You'd sometimes eat some grimm too. What happened to you is that you were born as a bizarre pile of biomass created by nature's natural selection. When some humans made contact with you years later, you immediately infected and possessed one of them and began to evolve rapidly. It was then you developed a personality and can think like an intelligent species. All before being captured, experimented on, and then escaping not long after. Luckily for the world, you aren't super bloodthirsty or a complete psychopath. Your personality is that of someone humble and wanting peace. Just like how mother nature is and must be respected as so. Speaking of the world, you figure out that the world you reside in now is called Remnant. Compared to the laboratory below, the outside world is much worse with the Grimm and humans fighting each other. But it is also the world where you will actually find your place in these harsh lands of savage beasts and advanced weaponry. Along with those whom you will reside alongside with.
