Gerard and Frank are adults living life. Then Gerard makes the first move on Frank. After awhile they start dating and they haven't told Mikey, Ray, Jamia, or Lindsey. They've been dating for over a year now and Gerard proposes to Frank. Frank says "Yes." Then they remember they haven't told anyone. They tell everyone that they're getting married and they are all soo happy. (3 years later) Gerard is at a club. He gets hitched with a guy that works their they have sex. He keeps it a secret from Frank. Gerard still goes out to see him and they do the same thing over and over. About after 6 months Frank finds out because Mikey followed Gerard to his place and Mikey stayed their for over 4 hours then went to Frankie's and told him everything. Frankie was so upset that Mikey stayed with him that night.

[This is the sequel to Tell Me I'm A Bad Man, it's not a necessity to read that first, but you probably should] Frank was under the impression that as soon as he'd graduated and moved to New York with Gerard, everything would be, well, perfect. Though he wasn't completely naïve - he knew that the presence of Gerard's apparently suicidal ex-boyfriend was going to make things difficult, but he didn't know that his intense distrust of the man would start to break down the relationship he'd tried so hard to keep. And then lies upon lies upon lies from everybody start to build, until nobody's sure of the truth anymore.
