My first Soulmark AU -- a fairytale of sorts inspired by a story I read that was never completed.
Sometimes it can be difficult, if not impossible to locate the one person in all the world sharing your unique birthmark. Sometimes that person lives their whole life never knowing you even exist. When the legendary skater Viktor Nikiforov turned 27 he had nearly given up hope, he never expected discovering the truth rested in a promising Japanese skater who had disappeared from the public eye plagued by rumors after a disastrous season and an embarrassing spectacle at the prior year's Grand Prix party.
He never expected to find his soulmate 's profile on the recently created, controversial site listing people seeking their soulmates who were dying.
