Marissa Wood was a small town Canadian girl until she moved to LA with her mother and step father one month into grade twelve at Welston High

Her step father -Cooper Brown- got a huge job opportunity down in LA so of course he took it and because she was living with her mother -Nora Brown- and him she had to come or else she would be stuck with her father.

Marissa's welcome in the school was almost too good to be true, she instantly made friends with the two most popular girls in school and became the second most popular girl in school, she met Noah Parker and they hit it off almost instantly and started dating on the first day of december.

Almost everyone liked her, she got good grades, was nice enough but had an attitude, wouldn't talk back to her teachers, besides a few times but she totally claims they had it coming.

She had the perfect new life, great new beasties, a hot boyfriend, good grades, she even joined the cheerleeting team.

But, everything changes when she mistakingly runs into Kai Baker in the band room and her seemingly pitch perfect pretty girl life changes for ever, note that I said seemingly.

She's so weird that it's like she's popular. She's not normal, not right. All I want to say is pair me up with anyone but her. I hate her, Ms. Emma." Ms. Emma just looks at me like I am the weird one. "And who, pray tell, is that Jace?" I was a little shocked she didn't know. Or maybe she did and she wanted to hear me say it.
