Evangelion Air Force
The JASDF, the air/space branch of the Japan Self-Defense Forces. Among such a defence is a high-tech specialised force codenamed the EAF, or 'Evangelion Air Force' - this team who pilot fighter jets that have been discontinued but retrofitted with advanced tech that'll leave any and all aircraft in their jet wash. (UltramanxEvangelion) Millions of years ago two giant alien races were at war with each other... The Ultraman and the Angels. The leaders of the two races found themselves on a primitive planet where they fought to the death and caused an explosion equal to the big bang later called "The second impact". A few million years later, the human race found the corpses of the two leaders and caused a cataclysmic event that sent a signal to the others of their races. With giant aliens on the way, humanity uses the technology from the alien corpses to allow a certain few to become Ultraman.
