The pairs of lines in a plane are the parallel, perpendicular and intersecting lines. Parallel lines are lines that never touch and have the same distance apart. Perpendicular lines are lines that meet to form a right angle. Lastly, Intersecting lines are lines that only crosses with each other at only one point.

Looking through the naked eye Amy and Adam are described to be parallel lines, since their personality contrast with each other.
