Charlotte Mathews was always a happy go lucky type of girl. She had a loving family, boyfriend of 3 years, good grades, and an acceptance to the best university in her state of California. But that was 2 years ago. Now she's cynical, single, doesn't talk to her parents, and went all the way to Illinois for college. If she returned home for the summer, could things really start to be like the used to? Could Charlotte learn to be happy again?
