A female TimeLord named F/N has lost an important companion of hers and feels as if it's her fault. Because of this, F/N has locked herself away in her TARDIS, isolating herself from every species. She feels alone and unloved. She thinks that she's the only one of her kind left.
On her companion's 50th death anniversary, F/N decides to go back in time for one day and go to the cafe her companion visited a lot, just to see him one last time. It was the only way she could let go.
But then she accidentally fell onto a stranger, lying on his chest. That's when her eyes widened at the unusual sound resonating from his chest.
The sound of two hearts beating.

Catch 22 || The 11th Doctor and Eleven Fanfiction
She's gone. They're both... gone. "The girl who waited and the last centurion," I tested their nicknames on my lips, hoping to get a small flicker of happiness, but I was only met by the weight on my heart doubling. A tear slipped down my cheek that soon turned into a waterfall. They're gone. Dead. The Doctor is heartbroken, devastated after the death of Amy and Rory. His heart and mind opens to the screams of humans on Earth. One stands out, a little girl screaming, "PAPA". Then I heard it. There were no windows, only wire mesh lining the entire building and hard concrete pillars in between. Surely the girl I'm looking for couldn't be in here? The Doctor uncovers a girl with a dark secret, will the Doctor save her or will she drag him down with her so they both burn. First they had to find Eleven. Now they have to find Twenty Two. A dilemma or difficult circumstance from which there is no escape because of mutually conflicting or dependent conditions. "a catch-22 situation". The Doctor has many companions that he travels with but either by choice, forced, death or no other option the companions always leave... but what if one outlasted the others, what if one stayed. I'm alone. I have had many companions, but sooner or later, they all die. Only one person can make my life complete. After the Time War in Gallifrey, I thought I'd be all alone. Apparently not. A girl I met when she was younger has come back into my life and I can't lose her again. I won't lose her again. But, as always, she's going to die some day and I can't help her.
