They say that she'll get better...They say that she'll be fine... But how can anyone be 'fine' and 'better' when she can't even talk to her therapist in fear of talking and saying something that people would tease her about. Emylie Dunstan is a girl who has seen too much in her short life. She was abandoned at the young age of eleven and was finally taken into a foster home after a month on the streets and three years in an orphanage. She still feels trapped. Like she has no where to go. When she finds her one release... The one thing that makes her feel free. The one thing that she isn't afraid of... She has to make a choice, fight for what's right or let fate repeat itself.

Trying to act like papa. But guess what, Dylan, you never cared about me or what I did!" She screamed, taking steps back towards the stairs. "You never cared when I was a baby, you didn't care when I was a toddler, and guess what! You don't care now. You're only pretending to care to make yourself feel better. But you don't! Once I get to Melanie's classroom I fill out the sign out sheet that's on the wall and make my way into the classroom. I faintly hear Melanie laughing so I know she's not upset from me being late. I stare at him for a while before I have to turn away from his hungry gaze. You have no right to come here and tell me that. You. Forgive. Me. You traumatized me. What you did to me tore me up inside and was eating away at me until I tried to kill myself. You made me hate myself for something that was never my fault. You have caused me so much pain and suffering," I pause to take a deep breath. "So you don't get to come here to my school and tell me you forgive me. You don't get to make me feel bad about coming forward.
